 You might remember Hazel Catkin if you follow me on Tumblr.

A resident of (another) short-lived 'hood of mine called Forget-Me-Not, Hazel was a would-be farmer. Unfortunately, I stopped playing the 'hood. But I loved the sims in it (and the name).

So it was time to move on to greener pastures!

I'm not sure if this 'hood will last any longer than my others. But for now, it's fun, and that's what matters. 


This time, Hazel Catkin is a young woman looking for a little adventure. After a bad breakup, she left her apartment and office job in San Myshuno with nothing but the deed for a plot of land that's been in the family for a few generations, and her parents' old RV. And her dog, Pickle, of course.



This could be the opportunity of a lifetime! To chase dreams she never thought possible! To go where she never thought she'd go before!



If only it was that easy.

 I know, I come and I go, but I thought I'd update real quick.

Pleasantspot, as some of you may know from my tumblr post, was actually destroyed by me when I accidentally placed the Land lot in the lot bin. I corrupted it. Thankfully, I had a backup. I might have lost a lot of gameplay (as I'd been playing instead of updating and just didn't want to wade through my screenshots), but I guess this way you guys don't actually miss much! Funnily enough, my backup picks up where I left off, right where we left Don. Next up are the Dreamers, then the Brokes, the Pleasants, and finally, the Goths, for the wedding finale of the season.

Nina loves exercise (especially yoga and dance) and bread pudding, which is a bit of a balancing act for a sim who relies on fitness and dancing for a career, especially when Nina loves grilled cheese more than she could ever love bread pudding. Nina is also a soccer super fan, and is pretty content with her choices in life when it comes to her career choice. All she has to do now is save up enough money to move out her twin's dead husband's house. But in the meantime, it's nice that she and Dina are actually catching up again. While Nina enjoys her romantic escapades and rounding out her experiences in the world of romance, she closely guards her heart, and only Don Lothario has ever come close to breaking it.

Dina loves wine, she loves money, and she loves chocolate. But she also loves to fish. Bet you didn't see that one coming. Dina has a rep of being a gold digger, but she misses her late husband, Michael Bachelor, and is heartbroken over Mortimer Goth. Dina is afraid of being on her own...and of financial hardship, especially now that the simoleons Michael left her to live on are running out  fast. Maybe the right sim could ease these fears and she won't need to worry about her life. But bumbling around rich men probably isn't the best way to go about that. Maybe she'll figure that out.  But Dina's life isn't just simoleons and rebounds. She's also very interested in fashion and entertainment, and daydreams about not only learning how to design her own clothes, but being a celebrity for it. She's bought the sewing machine, she just needs to use it. Dina also often desires to get more into self help, and learn things such as couple's counseling and lifelong happiness.
